Mother’s Day 2020 – Covid-19 Pandemic

With all the restaurants take-out only we decided to spend a Mother's Day afternoon dinner along the Santa Fe River and take a walk around the Plaza.

With the county under stay-at-home orders there were still a regular number of locals out and about as there has been since the first two week stay-at-home orders were issued. Visitor traffic was the only thing missing. Seems the general public, even in Sant Fe, has more sense than the bureaucrats! No surprise!

Santa Fe County has 110 confirmed cases of Covid-19 as of May 12, 2020, 7 months into the Covid-19 Pandemic. That is .07% of the Santa Fe County population of 150,358(2019 population count). 1 death is .0007% of the total Santa Fe County population.

Panicdemic aside we had a GREAT dinner and a healty enjoyable walk downtown. All in all a good Mother's Day.
